As I retured home today from Dublin, I feel a bit exhausted. To be honest, I didn't expect to sleep so well in a 16 bed dormitory room: All of my roommates were very careful and silent - I just came home late :-) Anyway I already uploaded my pictures from Dublin, the capital city of Ireland. UPDATE: Story of Dublin completed, check it out now! :-)
Impressions
My impression of Dublin is a very good one. This city with about 500.000 people has a spirit, you can feel somehow. For me, Irish people seem to be very helpful and polite. Unfortunately staying in Dublin is very expensive. If you have to pay food, drinking and accommodation, you will run crazy.

A Spar next to an Irish pub, I feel like home :-)

But this is also Dublin!

Couchsurfing party!!!
Saturday evening, that cute girl on the right side invited me to a couchsurfing meeting with about 30 Couchsurfers. They showed me the non-touristical nightlife in Dublin. Thank you for that!
Sights
Well I can't tell you what the most famous sight in Dublin is (except of the Guiness Storehouse), but walking along in the city center is very charming. There are a lot of nice pubs of course, and you have all thouse very small little houses where they live in with very colorful entrance doors. If you want to get an overview over Dublin and want to pass by the sights one by one, I suggest to take one of those "Hop On - Hop Off" buses. A 24h tickets costs about 15EUR, but that is a fair price, as you have discounts for the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery...
General Post Office
The "Peak"
Trinity Collage
Mansion House and the Majors car
Custom House next to the the river Liffey
City Hall at night
Liffey River and the The Four Courts
The famous Temple Bar!
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Me at Guinness Store House
The Kilmainham Gaol Jail - Nowadays a museum. Leaders of five Irish rebellions between 1798 and 1916 were detained here.
The Phoenix Park - Largest urban park in Europe
I visited the Jameson Distillery. Since that, I am now "Qualified Irish Whiskey Taster"!

Conclusion
No Re-entry! Anyway I don't care about that sign, I think I will visit Ireland again!
Well I didn't find a couchsurfer to stay at, but still I must say this was not a problem at all, because people in Dublin were very helpful. I never had the feeling to be cheated or exploited (except of the extremly high prices for food - but this is a topic for it's own). Anyway I had a great time there. It was easy for me to get in contact with people and have a nice chat. If you have never been to Dublin before, you have to checkout Irelands capital city!
