  • Greetings from Dublin Nice greetings from Dublin! I arrived here about 11am and I already had some time to enjoy Irelands capital city. It is wonderful to stay here. I already commiserate about leaving on Sunday :-( Anyway I can do it again of course and maybe I plan it a little bit better, likee finding a couchsurfer rather than the hostel I stay this weekend. Well the hostel itself is clean and modern, but think about to sleep in a room with 16 people! Anyway from North/West Europe - Dublin, Ireland, Dominik
  • Rüti Rüti Damm DJ Cracksilber, der sich selbst in "Psychedelic / Happy Hardcore" stuft, hat aus zwei eher seltsamen Videos auf YouTube einen "psychodelischen" Song gemacht. Anöhren und auch Downloaden kann man den Song auf seiner MySpace-Seite
  • Laufen - 10km in Krems Umgebung Heute hat beim Laufen die Sonne etwas hinter Wolken versteckt, aber es war doch recht feuchte, schwüle Luft. Wie auch immer, bin es heute etwas langsamer angegangen und bin nach Theiß und retour in etwa 1h05min gelaufen. Immer wieder "schön", nach einer längeren Pause wieder zu Laufen :-)
  • Laufen in den Weinbergen Am Samstagnachmittag hab ich mich lauftechnisch in die Wachauer Weinberge begeben. Es war gestern schon ordentlich warm und die lange Pause habe ich deutlich gemerkt, hatte sogar einen Muskelkater noch von Donnerstag. Wie auch immer, in rund einer Stunde war ich wieder zurück
  • Kino: Indiana Jones 4 Habe mir heute "Indiana Jones 4 - Das Königreich des Kristallschädels" im Kino angesehen. Entgegen der Vorabkritik die man bereits vor Filmstart zu hören bekam, empfand ich den Film als eine gute und homogene Fortsetzung der Indiana Jones Triologie. Dem Genere "Fun-Action-Blockbaster" wurde die Treue gehalten und es gab auch so manch Überraschung in dem Film! (Unvoreingenommene) Fans sollten mit diesem Film auf ihre Kosten kommen. Ich gebe dem Film 7 von 10 möglichen Punkten.
  • Spring Break Europe 2008 About two weeks ago, Iwona, Petra, Stefan an me went to Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy). On schedule: Spring Break Europe 2008. I went there "directly" from Portugal. Anyway it was a nice weekend, but I was terrible exhausted from traveling (I am getting old :-)). Well the first night was really quite for me *gg*. The next day we enjoyed the sun and the sea. The second night was more active: We went to "Disco Italia" were we also met Tomas.
  • Von der Kreation des britischen Minotaurus Seit Montag ist es im Vereinigten Königreich legalisiert Zybriden zu kreieren. So liberal man auch in der Forschung eingestellt sein mag, für mich ist die Grenze deutlich überschritten. Bei den "Designer-Babys" und Kuh/Mensch-Experimenten sollte man sich fragen, an was man da eigentlich so freudig herumprobiert? Wann ist diese Bewegung noch zu Bremsen? Die Idee vom "Supermenschen" gabs ja schon mal vor rund 70 Jahren hierzulande! Eine Reinkarnation? Welch glorreiche Perspektive...
  • Laufen - Wienerbergrunden Seit langem, genau genommen seit dem 17.4(!) war ich nicht mehr Laufen. Das liegt zum einem darin, dass ich jetzt sooft unterwegs war und zum anderen, dass ich kurz nach dem Urlaub krank wurde... Nun heute fühle ich mich wieder halbwegs gesund und hatte auch wieder Zeit und nutzte daher die Gunst der Stunde für zwei große Runden am Wienerberg. Gibt wieder Aufholbedarf, wenn ich heuer tatsächlich einen Halbmarathon laufen möchte
  • Charming Cascais Very close to Lisboa, about 25 minutes to go by train, is the charming town of Cascais. The beach to the Atlantic Ocean is realy beautiful! As the temperature of the water was a bit to cold at the beginning of May I didn't swim. Anyway, I spent only a few hours there, I think it's worth to visit it again!
  • Lovely Lisboa In May I visited Portugal's capital city Lisbon. It's a lovely little city with a charming spirit. I think you can spent many days there without getting bored: The city center, the Belém Tower, the Expo area and places close to Lisboa. As I was couchsurfing there, may friend Mike was already waiting at the trainstation :-)
  • Slowakisch Kurs & Quizzen Am Montagabend gings wie gewohnt in den Slowakisch Kus. Haben wieder viel wiederholt und den Imperativ gelernt. Ich sag' euch, diese Sprache hats echt in sich *uff*. Wie auch immer, nach dem Unterricht, der erstmals im Urania Gebäude selbst stattgefunden hat, gings mit David auf den Quizabend ins Fourbells, wo wir wieder kräftig abgeräumt haben :-)
  • Barcelona in Bratislava Am Sonntagabend bin ich mit dem Auto nach Bratislava gefahren: Meine CS-Host aus Barcelona, Aurora, ist dort angekommen. Habe mich mit ihr wieder getroffen. War sehr nett :-) Habe ihr gemeinsam mit ihrer Gastgeberin in Bratislava die Stadt gezeigt :-) Danach bin ich gegen Mitternacht wieder zurück nach Wien gefahren
  • Strandbar Am Samstagabend habe ich mich seit langem mal wieder mit Andy getroffen und es ging aug die Strandbar bei der Urania. Haben einige Bekannte auch dort wiedergefunden :-) Habe auch eine Couchsurferin aus Kanada kennengelernt, könnte "nützlich" sein, lange ist es jar nicht mehr hin zur Reise
  • Moving Madrid At the beginning of May, I visited Spains capital city: Madrid. With about five million people living there, it is one of Europe largest cities. Madrid was partially built by Austrian Habsburger and it's not possible to miss that fact. Anyway, to be honest for me a day in Madrid was enough, as I did not find it so charming
  • Girona, Sant Feliu de Guíxols & Tossa de Mar On May 4th, I went with Aurora the north-east of Barcelona. The first city was Girona, a nice very old city, which reminded me a little bit to Florence. We spent there a couple of hours while enjoying life :-) After it, we headed to Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Tossa de Mar next to Costa Brava and it was really beautiful!
  • After Work Beer Gestern war ich mit Kollegen nach der Arbeit noch ein wenig unterwegs. Waren in der Sand in the City. War recht nett. Aus dem ursprünglich kurzem Vorhaben wurde dann doch Mitternacht. Die Artikel über Giorona und Tossa de Mar werde ich daher vermutlich erst heute schreiben.
  • Beloved Barcelona In the end of April to Wednesday the 7th, I went to Barcelona. It was longer than planed, but to be honest, I enjoyed every single day. My hostess, Aurora, was nearly perfect and very nice! We were also visiting the Costa Brava close to Barcelona (seperat story). In those days, I saw a very young, active and dynamic city and it is a must-be place to visit. I took hundreds of pictures, it was hard to pick out only some of them for the galleries and the blog.
  • JVP Jourfixe Am Dienstagabend fand das regelmäßige Jourfixe in Soufies Bar statt. War wieder dabei und habe ein paar Fotos gemacht. Kurz vor der Segelstranderföffnung gab es kein besonders Thema, es kamen dennoch zahlreich Leute
  • blogs folgen... Die Blogs folgen in Kürze. Habe bereits angefangen die Bilder zu bearbeiten, allerdings ist die Menge einfach enorm, wesswegen ich erst Stück für Stück, online stellen kann! Bis auf weiteres!
  • Back from Italy I am back now from Italy, Lignano. I am really really tired now and go to bed soon. I couldn't write from Italy, because we were camping there and didn't have any electricity or internet.   • Meus cumprimentos, de Lisboa Today morning I arrived at Lisboa railway station. My friend Mike from Brasil (I hosted him couple of weeks ago in Vienna) picked me up and now we start our sightseeing tour in Lisboa!   • Greetings from Madrid I left Barcelona today by plane to Madrid. The past few days were great, so I stayed in Barcelona for a week :-) At the moment, I am sitting in an internetcafe somewhere in Spains capital city. The weather is not so nice, it is cloudy and hot. I will meet my host here in approximately one hour, but wont do anything, because I am tired. Tomorrow night, I will go by train to Lisboa to visit my friend Mike! So long, from Madird, Dominik
  • Imatges de Girona i Tossa Yesterday we went to the district of Girona: To the city of Girona itself and to the Costa Brava, Tossa de Mar. We spent nearly the whole day there. Afterwards we went back to Barcelona where we met "Camilla" again, but this was somehow strange! Anyway I uploaded some pictures from yesterday.   • Sun & Beach & Sun Hi everyone! Its great here! I could stay forever :-) Yesterday we were visiting almost the rest of the most famous sights in Barcelona! Today on schedule is just relaxing on the beach somewhere close to Barcelona! !hasta la vista! Adiós Amigos
